Worship Team Ministry
Purpose
To provide the framework for planning, coordinating, and leading activities to promote a worshipful environment for all congregational worship services and other special events. It will provide the opportunity for people to worship the Lord in a manner that both pleases and glorifies God.
Team Ministry Functions
It is the responsibility of Worship team Ministry to set goals, develop plans, and lead people in worship and praise to God. Members of these ministries will explore ideas, music, material, etc. in seeking to make worship experiences more pleasing to God and inspiring to participants. Worship team Ministry will prepare and submit fiscal requirements, projections, and dreams to the Finance Ministry for consideration and inclusion, as appropriate, in the church budget.
1. Fine Arts: coordinates and recruits the personnel to direct, accompany, assist
choirs and worship (i.e. Adult Choir, Instrumental Team, Drama Team, and Special
Music).
2. Worship Leadership: coordinates the worship service through design and
presentation.
3. Technical Support: coordinates and staffs all support functions such as sound,
lighting, tape ministry, and multi-media needs.
4. Support Services: responsible for recruitment of all personnel who assist in
Communion Preparation and Clean-up, Ushering, Serving, Greeting, Welcome
Center, etc.
