Discover Areas to Serve

Listed below are the different areas in which to serve.

Facilities
  • Internal upkeep: changing lights, air filters, simple maintenance, bathroom cleaning, window washing, painting, trash sweeps, landscaping, etc.
  • Grounds: mowing, weeding, flower beds, mulch, tree trimming, sidewalks, etc
  • Baptismal cleaning
  • Event set up: lions, tables, and chairs, oh my.
Greeter Team
  • Door greeters
  • Parking lot greeters
  • Facility guides
  • Ushers
Production Team
  • Media Operator: creating screens shots, graphics, and running slides for worship and events.
  • Camera Operator: recording or broadcasting live.
  • Studio Director: Directing our camera operators, controlling switchboard for cameras, lights, and production of worship or events to create a suitable atmosphere and environment.
Coffee Ministry
  • Help create an environment where people feel comfortable and can have conversations about God and pray together over food and drink.
  • Coffee and donuts available and served before worship.
Online Ministry
  • Helping to ensure the Gospel is broadcast around the world.
  • Online greeters communicating through comments and pointing people to their next best step in their relationship with Jesus and His people
  • Become a member of our online prayer team
The HUB
  • Provide information at Sunday worship and events
  • Provide help for signups and swag.
KidCity (Nursery through 5th grade)
  • Production: work behind the scenes to set up environments for students, prepare classrooms, and prepare material, and put together take home packets.
  • Childcare
  • Preschool teachers
  • Sunday School teachers
  • Grade School small group leaders/teacher
  • Worship production: lights, sound, computer graphics, worship singing
IMPACT Youth Ministry (Jr High and Sr High students)
  • Production: work behind the scenes to set up environments for students and prepare material and put together take home relationship building kits.
  • Sunday School teachers

Safety Team
  • Hall checks, door checks
  • CPR training
  • Emergency action training
  • Ensuring the safety of our WCC worship service and events
Prayer Team
  • Pray for each other and our church
  • Be prayer partners during worship times
Baptism Team
  • Help new believers in Christ prepare for and be available to help during their baptism.
  • Help prepare their changing rooms, fresh towels, and clothes if needed.
College Ministry
  • Pray for our college students
  • Prepare and send encouragement boxes, cards, etc
Small Group Leaders
  • Bible studies
  • Prayer Groups
  • Disciple trainers to make disciples
Card Ministry
  • Send encouragement cards from the church to those who need a card of encouragement.
Worship Team
  • Help lead worship through singing or playing an instrument on Sunday morning.
  • Help lead worship through the sound production of worship for Sunday mornings.
Funeral Meal Team
  • Provide dishes of food for grieving families to help comfort them.
  • Serve food, clean up after funeral meals.
