Join the WCC Discipleship School: Grow as a Disciple of Christ in 2025!
Embark on a transformative journey with us at the Wilmington Church of Christ’s Discipleship School, running from January to November 2025. This comprehensive program is designed to deepen your faith and equip you with the tools to live as a devoted disciple of Christ. Led by Dale McCamish and Jacob Blouse, each session will offer a blend of insightful teaching and dynamic breakout groups aimed at fostering spiritual growth and community.
Course Overview:
The Discipleship School will be broken into five sessions throughout the year. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of Christian life and discipleship. While we encourage participation in all sessions for a complete experience, you are welcome to join as many as your schedule allows. Sessions will include both teaching and small group discussions to enhance learning and personal application.
Session Breakdown:
Session 1: “The Bible and Prayer”
- Dates: 6 Mondays – February 10 through March 17, 2025
- Topics Covered: Bible Study, Bible Memorization, Bible Meditation, Daily Quiet Time, Bible Application, and Prayer.
- Cost: $25
Session 2: “Victory in Jesus Christ”
- Dates: 6 Mondays – April 7 through May 12, 2025
- Topics Covered: Holy Spirit, Lordship of Jesus Christ, Obedience, Dealing with Sin, Knowing Your Enemy, Victory Over Sin, Separation from Sin, and Assurance of Forgiveness.

Session 3: “Knowing the Will of God”
- Dates: 6 Mondays – June 2 through July 7, 2025
- Topics Covered: Faith, Assurance of Salvation, Love, Christian Fellowship, Giving, The Tongue, The Use of Time, and The Will of God.

Session 4: “Understanding How to Understand Revelation”
- Dates: 4 Mondays – September 8 through September 29, 2025
- Topics Covered: Understanding Revelation and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
- Cost: TBD
Session 5: “Obeying Jesus by Telling Others About Him”
- Dates: 4 Mondays – October 20 through November 10, 2025
- Topics Covered: Personal Testimony, Witnessing, Follow-Up, World Vision.
